The stage area was dedicated to the theme of the event with the exhibition The Origins, supervised by Thessy Schoelnotzer Nichols, coordinated by Rosalba Pepi and made possible thanks to the skill and cooperation of the exihibitors.

Selection of bags entered for the Competition. Works were sent by students of Art Institutes, artisans, embroiderers, lacemakers.

Lace and Embroidery from Italian Regions, Borders

A walk through the Italian textile culture with the presentation of borders, each in its own stand, which were specially created for this event. The aim was to narrate the evolution of the decorative designs and of the stitches which best represent the technique.
